Leathercraft Projects

If you’re interested in an amazing hobby, then leathercraft is it!  I love creating projects that are wearable or usable art.  I love this Egyptian inspired book bag.  I have to make another one.  A smaller version would be easier for me to carry when it’s loaded with books.

These gloves feature ‘pokering.’  A wood-burning tool was used to burn the designs into the leather.  If you try this, please only do so on vegetable tanned leather.  Most garment leathers have dyes and finishes that may not respond well to burning.
