1770s English Mantua

Once upon a time, I made many of these dresses for theatre and historical associations that conducted re-enactments.  This one was my favourite.  It was created as part of a collection of basic costumes for a theatre school.  Sorry for the poor quality photos.  They are a few years old.

Decoration of the stomacher included ivory satin ribbon and ivory velvet ribbon stitched onto ivory lace.
